Grill Fire Damages Multiple Apartment Units in Coppell, TX

A fire that began from a grill on a balcony in Coppell, a Dallas TX suburb, caused multiple apartment units to be badly damaged from fire and smoke.  SERVPRO of Metrocrest was called out to remove all contents and structure that could not be salvaged.  SERVPRO of Metrocrest technicians removed damaged items; including drywall, insulation, furniture, appliances, structural wood, etc.  Next, our technicians cleaned soot from all structural wood and deodorized the units, so that the reconstruction could begin.

Our photos show a damaged unit when we first arrived on site, and the same unit just prior to reconstruction beginning with all demolition and cleaning completed.
