If you see lots of leaves, sticks, and such up in your gutters, they need to be cleaned out. On a rainy day, a clogged gutter can send water spilling into your home’s foundation and through the roof, which could cause some serious water damage!

With so many water pipes hidden behind walls and in the floors in your house, you might not know there is a leak until the damage is done. It is a good idea to keep a close eye on your monthly water bill. If you see it starting to creep up, or get one that is uncommonly high, it’s a pretty good sign that you may have a leak somewhere.
